Praca w IT | Senior Data Engineer

Within the newly created Global Data Team across France and Poland, in charge of building and implementing the data strategy for IDEMIA. Our mission is to reap all the benefits of our internal data, transforming it into value for both IDEMIA internal stakeholders and our external customers.

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer, working closely with our Data Architects, Data Scientists and Data Engineers based in France and Poland.

Czego od Ciebie oczekujemy?/ Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a Data Engineer position within a fast-paced and complex business setting,
  • experience with real-life data pipeline industrialization,
  • ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with minimal supervision,
  • ability to think horizontally and collaborate with teams across the organization,
  • English.

Twoje zadania/ Responsibilities:

  • daily work hands-on to develop new pipelines (Scala, Spark); ensuring their robustness and scalability;
  • daily work on the whole data lifecycle (collect, design, industrialization) at the heart of our AWS infrastructures;
  • implement a modern data platform architecture and ecosystem including data stores (operational systems, data lakes, data warehouses, data marts), ingress patterns (API, streaming, ETL/ELT), and egress patterns (analytics/decision tools, BI tools); in respect of data security, data governance and of DevOps mindsets;
  • constantly adapt our architecture and implement such concepts as traceability, transparency, scalability and measurability within a demanding project and technology environment;
  • collaborate with our Product teams to ensure proper link between different products and services, and the Group’s DataLake.
